Although theatres and other venues are closed, you can still watch some amazing plays, musicals and other performances from the comfort of your own sofa. During lockdown some top-notch entertainment can be accessed online; some for free, some pay-to-view. We have put together a guide to what’s online where. We hope you enjoy working through the list.

To keep our fantastic theatre establishments going through this tough time, as well as all the people who work in the industry, many of whom are freelance, there are a number of ways you can help through donations for online performances and through various charities. We have details below on how you can play your part.

The piece, which stars Maddie Baillio, Jennifer Hudson, Billy Eichner,Harvey Fierstein, Kristin Chenoweth, Dove Cameron, Martin Short andAriana Grande, will be available from this Friday (29 May) for 48 hours.

What the Butler Saw by Joe Orton

The show must go online and we’re delighted to be able to share an archive recording of our 2017 Made at Curve and Theatre Royal Bath co-production of Joe Orton’s contemporary classic, What The Butler Saw.

What the Butler Saw was Orton’s final play, completed just a month before his untimely death. This Made At Curve production, directed by Nikolai Foster, was performed 50 years since the death of the celebrated Leicester playwright.
