A BRAND NEW EVENING WITH AGGERS & SIR GEOFFREY BOYCOTT

“The Lennon & McCartney of cricket broadcasting”

Wisden

Geoffrey and Jonathan have not been on our airwaves since 2019.  Covid hastened the departure of TMS’s most individual voice and the programme has not been the same since.  Now, for one night only the pair are reunited live on stage at the Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall Theatre.

As anyone who has been before knows, this show is so much more than just cricket chat. The night is peppered with wickedly funny anecdotes and will, as ever, be fun, fiery and full of surprises.  Boycs has sworn revenge on Aggers after Jonathan’s hilarious wind-up over his hundredth hundred.  Come and see if this is the night he gets his own back!

This is the ideal present for the sports lover in your life and, even if you are not a cricket aficionado, you will love the tall tales, barbed banter and side-splitting stories from these two broadcasting legends.  Why not tweet your own question to Aggers? If it’s sufficiently provocative, you may get it asked live on stage.

The pair are bound to be on sparkling form as they debate, argue and analyse the game they both love – and as they haven’t been on stage or on air in over three years, they have plenty to catch up about and sparks will fly!  The only real question is – will one evening be enough?

The event will be raising money which will go to The Professional Cricketers’ Trust, supporting the vital work of the organisation.

“If you take all the people I have worked with, Boycott is a mile ahead of any of them, he really is. I rate him that highly. His content is flawless.”
Jack Bannister, ex-cricketer and TMS commentator

“It’s lucky he wasn’t a politician otherwise he might have blown up the world!”
Malcolm Tate, childhood friend of Geoffrey Boycott
